The Board of Officers of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of Circle K International hopes that every Circle K'er, participant, and guest will fully enjoy this Circle K event. The following Code of Conduct has been established to make this event as safe and enjoyable for all attendees and will be in effect during the entire event.

Clubs with at least 4 members in attendance are required to provide a minimum of 2 SAA volunteers, plus one for every 4 additional attending members (see form for a more detailed explanation to determine the minimum number of SAAs that is required from each club).

What is a Sergeant-At-Arms?

Every year, members are given the opportunity to serve the district and lead others as a Sergeant-At-Arms at Fall Training Conference. As highly motivated and willing volunteers, SAAs ensure that FTC is a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees by promoting and enforcing the Code of Conduct and the campsite rules and regulations at all times. Each SAA is responsible for duties such as monitoring the campground, reporting inappropriate activities or suspicious behavior, and assisting people in any way they can to help make sure that everyone is having an extraordinary experience at FTC.

For all driving to FTC! There will be limited/no signal in the campsite area and along certain routes, so it is recommended that you pair these directions with a set of printed directions from Google Maps to get to Old Oak Ranch!

Team Captain Duties

Team Captains should be familiarized with all the games they will be participating in and leading prior to attending Fall Training Conference. As a Team Captain, you will be leading your team of Circle K members (roughly 15, consisting of new and older members) throughout a series of games and challenges presented during the course of the day. Your job is not only to facilitate and encourage bonding between your team members as you participate in games and overcome challenges presented to, but most importantly to have fun!

  • Applicants shall be contacted for an interview by Saturday, October 7th, 2017

  • Team Captains will be announced on Thursday, October 12th, 2017

Individuals will be in charge of taking pictures or recording footage to be used in the ending slideshow. All levels of experience are accepted. There will be an online meeting between all Media Crew members the week before Fall Training Conference with distribution of roles, necessary training, and further information (date and time will be based of everyone's availability). Thank you for your interest in purchasing an ad for the Fall Training Conference 2017 Program! This is your opportunity to showcase your ad to the entire district, as the program will be used throughout Fall Training Conference 2017! If your club, division, or committee has anything to publicize to the district, we urge you to take part on this special opportunity! The Program Ad would only be as exciting if we showcase all the clubs, divisions, and committees of the district, so be sure to purchase your ad space in the program using this form!

Rules

  1. Ads for events or activities that are sponsored by a club or division may only be placed if they have been approved in advance for participation by the entire District, through the Event Request Form (ERF).
  2. Ads, photographs, and all content should be appropriate for a Kiwanis Family setting. The District reserves the right to reject any ad deemed unsuitable.

What are we looking for?

What we are looking for this year is a DJ who would love to provide a great atmosphere for the other members attending Fall Training Conference while also being able to appeal to an array of musical tastes throughout the night and to also have a good time yourself! Also, a DJ who has their own equipment would be great as well and any help will be provided.

There are three opportunities to be involved in workshops for FTC this year: traditional workshop host, panel host, or panel guest. You are welcome to apply for up to 3 maximum workshops or panels.
